Tapping your glass pipe

You should always avoid tapping your weed pipe after smoking it since glass becomes more fragile after sudden heating and cooling your putting your beautiful glass pipe at risk. Many people tend to tap out their glass pipe after a smoking session in a ashtray which is also glass usually and not only could your glass pipe crack, chip, or just plain shatter so can your ashtray and no one likes burning ash flying all over the place especially on carpet. The best way to unclog your weed pipe is to use a small needle or nail or really anything thin to stick in your glass pipe and clear it out. Some pipes can be well over 100 dollars so in our opinion it's just not worth the risk even though you may get away with it once or twice eventually it will break and your weed pipe will be in shambles. Metal and wood pipes are not the same and are much more durable, but still your ashtray is not so if you plan on clearing out your metal and wood weed pipes do not smack it on your ashtray unless the ashtray is not glass. This seems so simple but you would be amazed how many people tap their pipes out this way so save your self the cost of buying a new pipe and clear it out the right way.
