Finding out where your weed is fake is not hard and you do not need a lab to figure it out. I decided to write this article because of a experience of a friend long ago. Most often you come across many different kinds of weed and strains but one time you are sure to encounter this dilemma on whether your marijuana is fake. Think this does not happen much? think again, The state of mind at the time is usually thinking that the weed is just bad or no good but this may not be the case and you may have been a victim of fake marijuana.

Ways to tell if your marijuana is real
Weed although having different strains will have a common smell, some may be skunky others sweet but the underlying smell will and should be consistent. All marijuana has a similar look to it again some may be covered in hairs of all colors and some may be covered in crystals or your leaf may be purple and so on but no matter the variations it will generally look the same in the grand scheme of things. an off beat way to understand this is if you put hot sauce ketchup and tomato sauce in clear jars and asked someone to pick out the ketchup they should be able to all though they all look similar.

How to tell if your weed is fake
Now this should be easy. If your assumed weed does not look like weed, does not smell like weed, weights more then weed of it's size and upon smoking does absolutely nothing then you know you have been tricked. Many people say if their pot doesn't give them a buzz " oh this is just bad bud" WRONG! if you do not get any buzz at all and only receive a headache, it is not real. All female marijuana plants which is the one people smoke, contain high amounts of THC, no matter the strain you will get a buzz but if you smoke a ton and feel no effect then this is fake or a male marijuana plant. Most marijuana plants have 5% - 20%THC or more which is more than enough to feel it's effect so you see any plant even a bad brown looking sake of crap still does the job although maybe not ask good as a well taking care of weed harvested at the right time.
