This is the step by step guide to make hash oil the safe and easy way. This method does not require you to heat the mixture, which can end up burning down your house as you don't notice the flame until it is to late. So this method is the safest way out there for making easy hash oil.Supplies Needed
Isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) DO NOT get Denatured alcohol as it contains ingredients that are poisonous.
Finely ground weed.
2 clean peanut butter jars or any type of jar that can be sealed tightly.
1 coffee filter
1 bowl (cereal bowl)
Let the mixture sit for 24 hours, afterwards your mixture should be green or brown.
After the 24 hours pour the hash oil mixture through a coffee filter into the 2nd jar.
Pour the mixture into a bowl and let it sit until all the alcohol has evaporated. This process could take 2 days or more but it worth not having your house burn down.
After all the alcohol has evaporated your end result will be a thick sticky green tar substance.

ReplyDeleteyou should not use iso alcohol to make consumable products. isopropyl will pick up the chlorophyll, dirt, pesticides and any other impurities that may be in or on your weed. butane, though more volatile, will produce a much nicer final product. this is due to which compounds are soluble in butane; basically it will not pick up all the unwanted nasties that turn your oil dark or green and runny (this is from the plant waxes and chlorophyll) as well, butane can be sufficiently cooked off by putting your collection container into a bit of warm water due to butanes extremely low boiling point
ReplyDeletenot only all of those points, but i forgot to mention you can make butane hash oil (bho) from start to finish in under an hour.. just make sure to heat your water on a stove and to make your cannabis concoction away from any spark or flame, and also, do it OUTSIDE! butane is heavier than air so if you do it inside there may be highly flammable fumes around long after you think they have cleared out. be safe!
ReplyDeleteBack in the early 80's,a company from Colorado made a hash still called the Isomerizer. We found that any alcohol over 100 proof would work nicely. I recommend 151 Rum for a great flavour.
